Full truckload quotes, instantly

For freight that fills a trailer, or needs one to itself. Enter two cities and see the price straight away.

What it is

A full truckload (FTL) shipment gets a whole 53′ dry van. The truck picks up your freight and drives it to the delivery address without stopping for anyone else's.

It's usually the fastest and safest way to move a large load, because nothing is unloaded or moved between trucks on the way.

When it's a good fit

  • Ten pallets or more, or more than about 15,000 lb
  • Freight that's fragile or shouldn't be handled twice
  • Deliveries with a firm date or a delivery appointment

What goes into the price

  • The distance between the two cities, with a lower rate per kilometre on long lanes
  • A fuel charge
  • Border crossing and customs filing on US lanes, and the ferry where there is one
  • Extras you add: liftgate, delivery appointment, residential or inside delivery, dangerous goods

You see each charge on its own line before you book.

Have this ready

  • Pickup and delivery cities, and the date the freight is ready
  • The weight, up to 45,000 lb for a dry van
  • What's moving and how it's packed

Full truckload: questions shippers ask

  • Up to 45,000 lb in a 53′ dry van. Heavier loads need another kind of trailer, so ask us.

  • Priority gets first pick of carriers and is picked up first. On long lanes it can run with team drivers who drive straight through.
